New! (7/09) Acoustic Blues Jam in Boulder? Anybody interested? I'm looking to start a regular acoustic blues jam in Boulder. If enough players are interested I will try to find a bar (mmm beer...)down on Pearl that players can go to, put their chairs in a circle, and play blues. No stage or 3 song crap. I'm talking about Bluegrass Style/Formula. The circle works in a round robin where you lead a tune, pass the solos around, end the tune, and picker next to you chooses a song. This goes on all night and it's a blast. If there's a bunch of people, the circles break up into different groups. Come on blues pickers, let's show the bluegrass pickers that you know how to jam and you're not stuck to this "wait for your 3 songs" world. Theres bluegrass jams everywhere here. Let's have an acoustic blues jam. If you're interested, click to Email Chad:

(9/08) The guitar I have for sale is a National Duolian, 14-fret neck, from the early 1930s. It has recently been converted from a square neck, but still has the original neck in place. The work was done in the famed shop of Dan Erlewine in Athens, Ohio, and the new frets have been dressed on a German PLEK machine, the very latest in technology. It has a brand-new cone inside and an appropriately funky hard case. The instrument is worth maybe as much as $3000, but I'm asking $2500. That price is flexible to some extent because I don't have room to carry the guitar in my car! If you are interested, email spencer directly
